Thoda dhyan naal
These rains are lovely for the mitti, but not so much for the palak and methi. The mitti sticks to the leaves, and small crawlies love to hide in the damp corners.
I know you love your saag, but skipping the greens for a few weeks is just smart ghar ki wisdom. If you must have them, wash them ten times over like you are cleaning gold. Don't be lazy, yaar.
The seasonal alternatives
Go for fresh ghia or tori from the SHOAM freshe cart or local rehri instead. They are light on the tummy and taste amazing with a bit of hing-jeera tadka. Or just make some hot kadhi-chawal. That is the real Punjab monsoon vibe anyway. Take care of yourself.
